Welcome to Starlight Horizon
Welcome to Starlight Horizon, where your wedding weekend unfolds under the biggest sky in the Hill Country. Fourteen modern cabins sit on five quiet acres above Canyon Lake, and for your wedding, all of it is yours: the views, the pool, the fire pits, and a sunset that shows up like it was on the guest list.
Say your vows on the terrace overlook with the hills rolling out behind you. Drift to the lawn for dinner under the open sky, dance until the stars take over, and end the night around a fire with the people you love most. There is no ballroom and no banquet hall here; your celebration lives outdoors, in golden light and night air.
And when the music fades, nobody says goodbye. Your whole guest list sleeps steps away in private cabins and wakes up together for coffee by the pool. Tucked between Austin and San Antonio, minutes from Canyon Lake, Starlight Horizon is easy to reach and a world away. We’d love to celebrate with you here.
Three Ways the Weekend Unfolds
The Ceremony
Say your vows on the terrace overlook, with the Hill Country rolling out behind you and your whole guest list gathered close.
The Reception
Move to the lawn for dinner under the open sky, string lights overhead until the dancing takes over.
The Weekend
Everyone stays. Fourteen private cabins hold up to 100 overnight guests, with mornings at the pool and nights around the fire pits.
How a Starlight Wedding Works
Book the Property
You book all 14 cabins and the entire five acres. There is no venue fee and no event fee, ever.
Bring Your People
Up to 100 guests can stay overnight in the cabins, and up to 350 can join for the day, with parking for 50 vehicles.
Bring Your Vendors
Bring your own caterer, your own tent, your own plan. There is no approved vendor list. Ask for tent vendor recommendations on request; a tent typically runs around $3,000.
Take the Weekend
Say your vows on the terrace, share dinner on the lawn, dance around the fire pits at night, and gather at the pool the next morning.
Need Additional Covered Space?
Easy. Vendor tents are welcome on the grounds, and local crews set up right on the lawn. There’s no indoor event space on the property, so for a shaded dinner, a covered dance floor, or a rain plan, a tent turns your stretch of the five acres into a pavilion.
We’re glad to recommend tent vendors who already know the property. Ask in the group booking form and we’ll send names.
Micro-Weddings and Elopements
Not every wedding needs the whole property. For a micro wedding or an elopement, book a few cabins, reserve the terrace in advance (complimentary, typically a morning or afternoon block), and you have a private Hill Country ceremony spot without a buyout. Plan on one cabin for every 20 guests attending: each cabin you book covers 8 overnight guests and 12 day guests. Sixty day guests means at least three cabins. Your closest people stay on site, the ceremony is steps from the porch, and the same rules apply: no venue fee, your own vendors, pets welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a venue fee to get married at Starlight Horizon?
No. There’s no separate venue fee or wedding fee of any kind. You pay for the cabins you book, and that’s it.
How many guests can we host?
A full property buyout sleeps up to 100 overnight across all 14 cabins, and the property can host up to 350 guests for a daytime-only portion of the event. Every event still requires at least one cabin booked, and the maximum headcount scales with how many cabins your group reserves.
Do you allow outside caterers?
Yes. Bring whatever caterer you’d like. It’s guest-arranged: you handle the booking, setup, and teardown, and we’re not affiliated with any vendor or involved in the coordination.
What are the quiet hours during a wedding weekend?
Standard stays run quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. A full 14-cabin property buyout has no quiet hours.
Can we buy out the whole property for our wedding?
Yes. A full buyout is a 2-night minimum with no exceptions, 50% due at booking and the balance due 30 days before check-in. Book and pay for all 14 cabins in a single direct payment and a discount applies automatically: 1% off for 2 nights, 10% off for 3 or more.
Is there an indoor space if it rains?
No. There’s no indoor ballroom or reception hall on-site. Most couples planning for weather rent a tent from a local company, typically around $3,000 depending on size.
Can we bring our dogs to the wedding?
Yes! Pets stay free in every cabin and are welcome to be part of your day, from the ceremony to the send-off. There are no pet fees of any kind.
