Modern Cabins Near San Antonio for Your Next Group Getaway
An Easy Group Trip
Looking for cabins near San Antonio that fit your whole group in one place? Starlight Horizon is a 14-cabin resort on five acres at Canyon Lake, about an hour north of the city up US-281. Thirteen cabins are modern three-bedroom, two-bath builds that sleep eight apiece; the fourteenth is a one-bedroom hideaway with its own private hot tub. Book one for a family weekend, a handful for a reunion or a wedding block, or take all fourteen and have the place to yourselves, with room for 100 overnight guests, a resort pool, six fire pits, and a yard full of games in the middle of it all.
Leave San Antonio after work on Friday and you’re unpacking before dark. From the property it’s seven minutes to the Canyon Lake marina, about twenty to the Guadalupe tubing outfitters, and twenty-five to Gruene Hall and the restaurants of New Braunfels, so the weekend mostly plans itself. Some of our groups are in town for a JBSA graduation and want one spot where the whole family can land after the ceremony; plenty of others come for a wedding and turn the cabins into the weekend’s home base. Every cabin has a full kitchen and its own washer and dryer, your dog stays free, and if you’re juggling something bigger, our team will help with cabin lineups, room blocks, and full-property buyouts.
